Job Description

Asset Management – Private Equity\ Real Estate Transactions Officers\ Managers\ Directors\ Interns

Overview:

Luxembourg Fund Partners is offering asset management positions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in the entire operational and transactional process of Private Equity and Real Estate funds
  • Drafting of valuation reports for Private Equity and Real Estate funds
  • Preparation of valuation models for private equity and real estate investments
  • Assisting the transaction team in performing the due diligence on target investments
  • Preparation of internal memoranda including investment memoranda
  • Investment monitoring and review of portfolio allocation
  • Involvement in the structuring and the setup of new investment structures
  • Interaction with the Risk Management Department for the preparation of risk reports (PE/RE funds)
  • Supporting the investment team in the execution of transactions

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Final year master’s degree in economics, finance or other related field
  • Previous internship(s) in a financial institution (e.g. asset management, banking) or consulting/audit
  • Good knowledge of financial markets and the fund industry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet tough deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English and French (additional languages preferred)

Job Description

Operations Officers\ Managers\ Directors

Overview:

Luxembourg Fund Partners is offering operations positions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execution of client orders;
  • Process payment and securities instructions, forecast cash flows, manage clients' liquidity on a daily basis
  • Treating and following up clients' queries and complaints
  • Monitoring of transactions, positions and suspicious transactions
  • Ensuring fees and interests on the clients payments are accurately charged on customer accounts
  • Ensure that all orders are in line with the investment restrictions and the prospectus for the relevant portfolios
  • Contribute in client projects i.e. setting up new portfolios and migrations
  • Maintaining customer working files in due order – organising reporting files
  • Proper handling of the regular EOD process
  • Providing support on the regular Due Diligences to be done on IM´s/ AM´s
  • Maintain and improve the service provider landscape
  • Maintain all client related documentation to be in line with the existing law
  • Assisting in building and expanding long-term relationship with clients by anticipating their needs and providing high quality services
  • Provide regular reporting to the clients

Required Skills and Experience:

  • University degree in economics, finance, banking, mathematics, accounting;
  • Relevant years of experience in Customer Desk/Middle-Office/Cash management department or in similar positions
  • Good knowledge of the Lux Finance Industry
  • Skills in customer related techniques, procedures and policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with AIF, Real Estate or Private Equity funds is required.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, any additional language would be considered as an asset.

Compliance Officers\ Managers\ Directors

Overview:

Luxembourg Fund Partners is offering compliance positions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyse regulation on an on-going bases to ensure that existing policies and procedures are compliant.
  • Control and monitor the compliance processes of the funds under management (UCITS, AIF and standard SIF).
  • Control and monitor the compliance processes of the UCITS and AIFMD compliant management company.
  • Produce regular compliance reports.
  • Advice staff on applicable regulation and policies and provide them with compliance related trainings.
  • Collaboration with all compliance key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the ongoing monitoring and enhancement of our control environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A university degree in Law, a Compliance qualification or other relevant.
  • Relevant years of experience.
  • Proven knowledge of local and EU fund regulatory requirement and ability to translate them into operational/ process requirements with a focus on keeping of a strong compliance culture.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • Enthusiastic team player and self-motivated with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbal.

Risk Officers\ Managers\ Directors\ Interns

Overview:

Luxembourg Fund Partners is currently offering risk management positions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in the whole risk processes of the funds (UCITS, AIF and standard SIF).
  • Monitoring of risks, including escalation of information on risk events such as market risk, liquidity risk, counterparty risk, operational risk, etc.
  • Supporting the Risk Management team in production of risk management report.
  • Investment Strategy review and Portfolio allocation monitoring.
  • Involvement in projects related to risk management activities including risk assessment, working on diverse projects and manage them in the most efficient way.
  • Collaboration with the Investment and asset management team for support.
  • Control and monitor compliance status of all investment portfolios and Funds in scope.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • University degree\ qualification in economics, finance or equivalent.
  • Good Knowledge of financial markets and fund industry.
  • Audit and Accounting skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, any additional language would be considered as an asset.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
